Anne trained as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist before becoming the first female doctor in Australia to obtain the CREI subspecialist qualification in reproductive medicine and fertility more than 28 years ago.
She is currently Medical Director of Fertility First, which is an IVF and Fertility Clinic that also focuses on lifestyle modifications and peri-conception health to maximise a couple’s fertility and healthy ongoing pregnancies.
Fertility First is also one of the largest donor sperm practices in Australia.
Anne is on the Board of ACCESS, one of the directors of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA), the Executive of the IVF Director’s Group and Chaired the FSA Preservation of Fertility Group.
She is regularly invited to speak locally and internationally on issues related to fertility preservation, male factor infertility, PCOS and the medical management of IVF cycles and poor responders.
In 2015, Anne was appointed by the Federal Minister of Health as a person of ART experience to the NHMRC Embryo Research Licensing Committee.
